They come out firing out-shooting Pittsburgh 16-11 in the first period, but it’s Labraaten (7) who puts the Spirit up 1-0. 2nd period – 1:47 Chouinard (7) on the PP makes it 2-0 Pittsburgh. 14:45 on the PP Payne (10) gets Saint Croix Falls on the board 2-1 Spirit lead, but less than two minutes later at 16:42 Hedberg (8) gets the 2 goal lead back for the Spirit making it 3-1. Head into the 3rd. Saint Croix Falls pressures, out-shooting the Spirit 16-9. Cashman gets his 2nd of the series and playoffs to pull the Lumberjacks withing one to make it 3-2.
